As owner of Idyll Reserve - a holistic experiential retreat of x5 unique cabins in the Hocking Hills - DeVore works and thinks all things design-experience. Built alongside a team of collaborators - this project was a blank slate, culminating in final experiential execution. DeVore & her two partners directed all areas of design and the overall design vision, leading building selection, siting, landscaping, branding, finish selection, project management, FFE procurement, layout and architectural details and drawings.
Currently, DeVore and her team do consultation work for existing short-term-rental owners about branding and experiential design elements, furniture selection, and overall design refreshing for your own short-term rental project.

What should I do first? Do I bother redo-ing the kitchen? What service do I need? Planning a move and don’t know where to start?
Often, it can feel so overwhelming to pick out fixtures and furniture and what floors need to be redone BEFORE a move, that you’re not even sure where to start.
I consult with a very small amount of people (limited clients per year) to help them plan out moving logistics, construction logistics, painting plans, furniture layouts before/after, new furniture acquisition and procurement and/or renovation planning. I can help with timing, picking out all the little pieces that seem overwhelming in a move, or just a one-time consult. Message me for details.
Furniture and design consultation
Taking that next step to opening your small business, and while a “logo” might seem like one of the first steps, sometimes small business consulting — having someone walk you through what your vision is, what your ultimate customers should/might be, and what your ideal version of your (new) company could be, is incredibly valuable at the beginning stages of a company. Thinking through and having clear your messaging: how you speak about what you’re doing, what your environment and/or office looks like, and everything down to what language you might use to write an out-of-office response - IS your brand identity.
I take a few clients to consult with per year - message me for details.
